My Luscious Chocolate Cheesecake

graham cracker crust to fit a 9-inch springform pan
2 packages of cream cheese (8-oz. each), softened
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cups of frozen, non-dairy whipped topping, thawed or sweetened whipped cream

Make the crust first.

To Make the Graham Cracker Crust:

1-1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of melted margarine

Combine the mixture and press in the bottom and halfway up the sides of your springform pan, which you have lightly greased.

To Prepare the Cheesecake:

Beat the cream cheese, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla thoroughly with your electric mixer before adding the eggs and beating to combine.

Pour the batter into your prepared crust and bake in a 375-degree oven for about 30 minutes or until you insert a slender knife to see if anything sticks.

Let cool before topping.

Cover and chill.

ENJOY!
